Essex Masters’ Gift

The Freemasons’ Grand Charity President Grahame Elliott presented a special certificate to John Webb, Provincial Grand Master of Essex, to commemorate the exceptional donations made to the Charity by the Essex Masters’ Lodge during its centenary year.
The lodge, of which John Webb is the current Master, has donated £85,000 to the 2011 Festival for the Freemasons’ Grand Charity. At the centenary meeting a further £10,000 was donated.
Along with other donations, Grahame Elliot probably left Southend’s Saxon Hall with cheques close to £40,000.
