Five Exalted in One Day on the Scillies

The newly consecrated Scillonian Chapter No.7790 (Islands of Scilly), Province of Cornwall, has performed an unusual quintuple Exaltation of five members of Godolphin Lodge No. 7790 into the Royal Arch Chapter.
Additionally Anthony Smith – who had previously been exalted in St Andrew's Chapter, No. 14 under the Scottish Constitution – read a seldom heard Oath of Obedience to the First Grand Principal and to the Regulations of Supreme Grand Chapter.
The five new Companions included two pairs of father and son: Edward Smith (father of Anthony) and Robert and James Francis. Also Exalted from Godolphin Lodge was Eric Hayden.

Warwickshire Fund Vehicle for Age Concern

A fully equipped Ford Galaxy people carrier costing £18,000 has been presented to the local Age Concern by the Royal Arch Province of Warwickshire.
The keys of the vehicle were presented to Norman Painting, patron to Age Concern Warwickshire – but better known as Phil Archer in the BBC radio series The Archers – by Grand Superintendent John Saint. The Mayor of Rugby, Cllr Bill Sewell, was among other distinguished guests present.
John Saint commented: ‘This donation has been achieved in just two years thanks to the generosity of the 1,650 Royal Arch masons in the Province. We are extremely grateful for all that Age Concern Warwickshire do, and we are conscious of the many services they provide for older people.’
